Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp browned butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp honey maple syrup, or molasses
  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup nuts
  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup chia or flax seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup dried fruit

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Silicone spatula or spoon
  • Baking Sheet
  • Silicone baking mat or parchment paper
  • Mason jar or airtight container for storage

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Brown butter and stir in vanilla and sweetener.
  3. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Pour butter mixture over oats and stir well.
  5. Spread on baking sheet and bake 35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in dried fruit after baking.
  7. Cool completely before storing.
