Tangy Lime Cabbage Slaw

Tangy Lime Cabbage Slaw

This healthy Tangy Lime Cabbage Slaw comes together in minutes and adds the perfect bright, crunchy texture to so many meals. Using a pre-bagged cabbage, broccoli, and kale slaw mix keeps things extra simple, making this one of my favorite quick side dishes for busy weeknights.

The creamy lime dressing adds just the right balance of tangy freshness while the crunchy vegetables give every bite texture and flavor. It pairs perfectly with flaky fish tacos, grilled meats, rice bowls, or even served on its own with your favorite protein.

One of my favorite things about this slaw is that it actually gets better as it sits, making it wonderful for meal prep, taco bars, and leftovers throughout the week.

There’s something about a fresh crunchy slaw on taco night that makes dinner feel bright, colorful, and a little extra special around the table.

So put on your Apron First and let’s get started!

Tips & Tricks

  • Use pre-bagged slaw mix – Huge time saver
  • Let it rest before serving – The flavor gets even better after chilling briefly
  • Add extra lime – If you prefer a more tangy slaw
  • Make it spicy – Add jalapeños or chili flakes
  • Prep ahead friendly – Stores beautifully for 2–3 days in the refrigerator
  • Keep it crunchy – Add dressing closer to serving time if prepping far ahead
