These juicy Mini Blue Cheese Burger Sliders are one of our family’s go-to meals when burgers are calling our name. We love the bold, tangy flavor of blue cheese, but you can absolutely swap in cheddar or your favorite cheese—this recipe is super flexible.

Because they’re smaller, a “Kid-Friendly Meal”, they cook quickly (which is always a win on busy days), and they’re the perfect size—no half-eaten burgers sitting around. Around here, most of us go back for seconds…or thirds depending on the day.
The kids love the melty cheese, the juicy beef, and the soft, slightly tangy sourdough buns. There’s just something fun about food that feels “their size.” These are also a great Game Day Food, that serves a crowd by popping them in the oven.
Why You’ll Love These
• Juicy, flavorful mini burgers
• Blue cheese adds a rich, savory (umami) kick
• Quick cooking time = easy weeknight win
• Perfect portion size for kids and adults
• Easily customizable with your favorite toppings
Ingredients
Ground Beef
The base of your sliders—choose a slightly higher fat content (like 80/20) for the juiciest results.
Salt & Pepper
Simple seasoning that enhances the natural flavor of the beef.
Dill Pickle Seasoning
Adds a subtle tangy, herby flavor (usually includes dill weed, onion, garlic, salt & pepper, plus a little paprika for coloring).
Blue Cheese (or Cheese of Choice)
Creamy, bold, and slightly tangy—melts beautifully over the warm burgers.
Slider Buns or Dinner Rolls
Soft, slightly sweet or tangy buns that hold everything together. Sourdough buns are especially delicious here. If you’re looking for the perfect homemade buns to go with these sliders, we’ve loved using this recipe—it’s soft, slightly chewy, and holds everything together beautifully.
Optional Toppings
Pickles
Dijon Mustard
Ketchup
Lettuce
Tomato slices
Equipment
Wire Rack– We love using a wire rack to cook burgers, it allows air flow all around the burgers for an even cook.
Baking Sheet lined with Foil- I love these Chicago Metallic ones and have used mine for years, I purchased mine from Sur LaTable but these are the same.
Temperature Probe Instant Read Thermometer– I use this one for everything from testing meat to testing temperatures of baking bread.

How to Make Mini Burger Sliders
Here we go — you’ve got this! Put on your Apron First!

Step 1 : Preheat Oven
Preheat to 350°F. Line a 13×18 sheet pan with foil and place a wire rack on top.

Step 2: Mix Seasoning
Gather your supplies, measure seasonings into a small bowl with a teaspoon of salt & pepper as well as a few teaspoons of Dill Pickle Seasoning. This way you can pour the ingredients into your bowl of beef without having to wash your hands so many times in between each seasoning.

Step 3: Season the Beef
Place ground beef in a bowl, sprinkle seasoning over the top, and gently mix with your hands until just combined

Step 4: Form Patties
Shape into patties about 4–5 inches wide and ½ inch thick (they’ll shrink while cooking).

Step 5: Bake
Place patties on the wire rack with space between each. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until internal temp reaches 160°F.

Step 6: Add Cheese
During the last 2–3 minutes, top each slider with cheese and return to the oven to melt.
Rest & Assemble
Let the burgers rest for 5 minutes. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
